Shipping policy
1. Order Processing Times
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days when items are available and in stock. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days when items are restocking, but delivery may not occur for up to 10 business days, subject to supplier availability.

Note: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders (especially during new "Drop" periods), shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We primarily use Canada Post for all domestic and international shipping. Local pickup is free in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, and subject to a negotiated agreement, local delivery is possible.
3. Local Pickup (Cape Breton Only)
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup in the Sydney/CBRM area. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1-2 business days. We will send you an email with instructions when your order is ready.
4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Please note: Standard Sticker Shipping via Lettermail does not include a tracking number.
5. Lost or Damaged Items
Backshift Supply Co. is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping if you choose an untracked shipping method. If you received your order damaged and used a Tracked service, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
6. International Shipping
We currently ship to Canada and the USA. For international orders outside of North America, please contact us at backshiftsupplyco@gmail.com for a custom quote. Customers are responsible for any customs and taxes applied to their order (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
7. Mixed DEVCO and Backshift Brand in the same order
DEVCO items ship from Nova Scotia and are fulfilled locally. Free shipping only on DEVCO items over $100. Backshift Branded items are printed on-demand and ship separately from a Canadian fulfillment warehouse. Shipping for Backshift items will always be required. Orders containing both may have separate shipping charges depending on order costs and quantities.
